Process for Requesting Global Independent Research Support
BioMarin has automated the Independent Research application process to an online tool – the BioMarin Independent Research Program portal. The online process now includes:
- Registration and login
- Submission of a research support application
- A status page for all application activities
Registration and login
Before completing and submitting an application for IR support, the Primary Investigator (PI), or his/her delegate, must register and create a login ID. Registration involves providing contact names and numbers and creating a password to access the online application portal. The PI, or delegate, is required to accept all terms and conditions of the IR application process in order to proceed with an application.
IR Support Application Review
Applications are reviewed by committee on a regular schedule, usually 1-2 times per month. After receipt of a completed application, BioMarin will inform you about its decision as quickly as possible.
Application Request Status
You may check the status of all your applications at any time by logging into the online portal.
