Arpit Davé serves as Executive Vice President and Chief Digital and Information Officer, leading the company’s enterprise-wide digital and technology strategies, including overseeing adaptive, AI-driven systems to deliver business value.

Arpit joined BioMarin in January 2026, bringing more than 20 years of creating value through digital transformation, information technology and artificial intelligence (AI) across the biopharmaceutical industry. Prior to joining BioMarin, Arpit was at Amgen, where he served as Head of Transformation and Digital Strategy and Head of Enterprise AI and Digital Technology and Innovation, positioning the company to be competitive in the rapidly changing era of AI.

Prior to Amgen, Arpit served in a number of leadership positions of increasing responsibility at Bristol Myers Squibb, Merck and Schering-Plough, with a focus on CIO leadership, data science, and research & development. Arpit is deeply passionate about fostering a culture of continuous improvement and learning. He is an advocate for preparing teams for the era of AI, ensuring the workforce is equipped with the skills and agility necessary to drive future innovation.

Arpit holds an M.S. in Industrial Engineering from the University of Texas and a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from S.P. University in India.

Outside of work, Arpit enjoys spending time with his wife, daughter and son. They enjoy traveling, soccer, music and an active family life.
