Research & Early Development Postdoctoral Fellowship Program

Apply to Become a Research and Early Development Postdoctoral Fellow at BioMarin

BioMarin’s Research and Early Development (RED) organization conducts trail-blazing research to enable preclinical drug development for patients with genetic diseases in the cardiovascular, hematology, musculoskeletal and central nervous system therapeutic areas. We leverage multiple modalities, including biologics, small molecules, oligonucleotides and gene therapy. We work with world-class academic investigators and centers and a diverse array of internal research and development partners in genomics, gene editing and translational sciences.

Our RED Postdoctoral Fellowship program offers early-career scientists the opportunity to gain professional experience at BioMarin and deepen their understanding of the biopharmaceutical industry during two-year postdoctoral fellowship terms. Postdoctoral fellows have the chance to acquire technical experience, contribute to publications and learn about other biotech business units, including Regulatory Affairs, Product Portfolio Development and Medical Affairs. Postdoctoral fellows will receive a competitive salary, benefits and relocation assistance if required.
